CATALYST SERIES - 3 workshops for Dance Artists

D//N is excited to offer three professional development workshops this November. Led by Racheal Prince and Brandon Lee Alley, each session begins with a one-hour class, followed by distinct offerings designed to expand your practice and share our artistic philosophies.

Emerging Artist Program 2026 - APPLY NOW

Dates: January - February, 2026

Location: The Polygon Gallery - North Vancouver, B.C.

Dance//Novella invites 10 emerging professional dancers to join a four-week development program combining creation, performance, and mentorship. The first three weeks feature a site-specific residency and performances at The Polygon Gallery, followed by a week of workshops at The Dance Centre led by acclaimed dance and theatre artists.

Artists in Residence - Dance Victoria

Dates: December, 2025

Location: Dance Victoria - Victoria, B.C.

D//N will use the residency at DV Studios to develop So to Speak, a solo performance in which D//N co-director, Brandon Alley blends clowning, physical theatre, and original text. Through structured improvisation and poetic exploration, the work examines themes of waiting, repetition, and emotional residue, weaving interlinked scenes into a somatic, theatrical meditation.

Alberta Ballet - Spectre de la Rose

Dates: Oct. 16-18 + 25-26, 2025

Location: Calgary and Edmonton

Co-Directors Racheal Prince and Brandon Lee Alley are excited to share a contemporary reimagining of the iconic ballet alongside 3 celebrated Canadian female choreographers this fall! We highly encourage you to come out and support this program and new Canadian work.
